From the start of the winter season on October 29, 2006, all five daily return flights between Amsterdam and Budapest will be operated by KLM's partner airline Malév mostly by Fokker 70-s, where as on certain days Boeing 737. Until this date KLM operates one of these five daily flights. KLM will continue to offer code-sharing, through check-in and electronic ticketing on all Malév operated flights between the two capitals. KLM passengers will continue to have the possibility to earn and redeem Flying Blue Miles on these flights. The new schedule offers a better spread of the five flights over the day and more flight options and shorter transfer times on connecting flights at both hubs. The first flight will depart from Budapest at 7.10 in the morning and the last one arrives at Ferihegy Airport 22.30, while the first flight to leave Amsterdam in the morning is at 10.00 and the last one will land at Schipol 19.45. The cooperation between Malév and KLM started 1st of January 2001. Amsterdam is the only destination of Malév where it has five daily services.
